David Lee Bough, 87, of Bedford, formerly of Carlisle, passed away at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003 at Core Nursing & Rehab. Born June 11, 1916 in Martin County, he was the son of George and Eva (Clark) Bough. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include one son, Gary Wayne Bough of Shoals; one daughter, Linda Starling of Ottawa, ILL.; one step-daughter, Evelyn Crane of Switz City; one step-son, Ronald Watson of Linton; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta (Frye) Bough on April 6, 1993; five brothers, Marlin, Dale, Edward, Charles and Ben Bough; five sisters, Belma Dove; Melinda Crane; Mary Trueblood; twin infants, Karen and Sharon Bough; one step-son, Don Pearson; and his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield at 11 a.m. Saturday with Bro. Carl Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Worthington Cemetery.
