Elizabeth Tondee Elon Basinger is the child of Elisha Elon and Anne (Tondee) Elon. Elizabeth married Peter Dreher Basinger on February 4, 1802 in Chatham County, Georgia. She and Peter were the parents to Thomas Elisha Basinger (1803-1836), William Elon Basinger (1806-1835) and Sarah Elon Basinger (1809-1816). She outlived all of her children and her husband.

Information from the Savannah Death Index. Elizabeth Basinger is buried at Bonaventure. Peter was buried at Colonial Cemetery when he died on October 1, 1816. He was then moved to Laural Grove Cemetery in 1854. Sarah Basinger (under the name of Family of Peter Basinger) who both died on October 2,1816 was probably buried at Colonial and moved in August of 1854. It is not known if she was moved at the time her father Peter was moved. Also Thomas Elisha Elon Basinger is also buried in Boneventure along with many of his family members. William Elon Basinger died in Seminole War in Dade's massacre near Bushnell, Florida and was buried along with the other casualties there. He had no known children.
