He was a native of Oakland, California born on Tuesday, July 20, 1926 and a resident of Rio Linda for the past 17 years. Beloved husband of Anna Forland for the past 17 years. Also survived by his children, a daughter Sandra of Sonora, CA and her children, Scott and Cynthia. A son Steve of Cherry Valley, CA and his children Shannon, Amber, Roxanne and Joshua also a great grandchild Tyler. A son Denny of Chico, CA and his wife Kim, their children Erik, Taylor and Mackenzie. He is preceded in death by both parents Trygve and Daisy (Clark) Forland, a sister Thelma Hardcastle and a daughter-in-law Nancy Forland. Mr. Forland was a member of the Carmichael Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed playing cards with friends, woodworking, gardening, watching baseball and football and helping others. The family invites you to attend a visitation 10:30am to 12:00 noon and a funeral service at 1:00pm on Monday, November 7, 2005 at The Carmichael Seventh Day Adventist Church 4600 Winding Way, Carmichael, CA.
