William Lee Duncan
April 7, 1943 - December 29, 2013

William "Bill" Lee Duncan passed from this life on December 29, 2013 at the age of 70. Bill was born April 7, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Henry and Gladys Lucille (Gilliam) Duncan. All of his elementary and high school years were spent in the Wellston School system. He graduated high school with the Class of 1961.

On December 31, 1966 he was united in marriage to Rose Ella Mae Wellman. They were blessed with the birth of their daughter Tammy Jo and Bill became father to Rose's five daughters. Bill had many hobbies but especially enjoyed taking his family camping and fishing.

He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and spending time visiting with them. Taking care of his farm animals was another pleasure Bill enjoyed. Most people who knew Bill knew his true passion was his lifetime of work in the oilfield business.

In August, 1989 Bill and Mary Presley were united in marriage. Bill became a father to Mary's four daughters and son. They made their home in Chandler for a time and later moved to Sparks, Oklahoma.

He attended the First Assembly of God Church, in Chandler, as long as his health would permit.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents, William and Gladys Duncan, daughter Tracy Lynn, grandsons, Jacob and Joey Price, granddaughter, Breanne Smothers, and great-granddaughter Victoria Knisley

Family members remaining to cherish his memory are daughter, Tammy McDannald and husband Donnie of Vici, Oklahoma and their children, SaVana Denton and husband Kyle and Stetson McDannald and wife Karla; sisters, Wilma Richardson and Nancy Tillis, and brother, Leroy Duncan all of Chandler, Oklahoma; Rose's five daughters and their families and Mary's four daughters, one son and their families: several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many lifetime friends.
