Abigail was the daughter of John Cheney and Elizabeth Burrage of Newton, Mass. She was married in Newton on 3 October 1751 to John Draper, the son of John Draper and Moriah Hall. She and John had nine children, and her husband served briefly as a soldier of the Revolutionary War.

While there is no record of her burial, she is without doubt buried here beside her husband, having died just a few years after he died. Her husband now has a veteran's marker placed in a special section for Revolutionary War soldiers, but it is doubtful that Abigail ever had a grave marker, and it is not known where in the cemetery she and her husband were actually buried.
