C. Lorene O'Neill Barton, 86, Prophetstown, formerly of Wyoming, died Tuesday, July 21, 1992, at her daughter’s home in Prophetstown.
Lorene was born Nov. 8, 1905, in rural Wyoming to James and Evaleen Colgan O’Neill, she married Emery Barton Feb. 12, 1929, in Wyoming. He died in March 1973 in Sterling.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Myron (Doris) Cox of Prophetstown; three sons, Francis of Elmwood, Larry of Prophetstown and James of Sterling; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandhildren.
She was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Prophetstown, where services were held Friday, July 24. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown.
Her Parents, Two sons, three sisters, one brother and one grandson also preceded her in death.
