Faithful Church Worker

At an early age Mr. Miller professed faith in the Master and lived a faithful Christian life throughout. Hayter. He was a member of the board for eight years and at one time served as president of the Manning-Bowman Bible class.

He was a wise leader and his judgment in church matters as well as other daily activities was based on study and was accepted by his associates. Mr. Miller took a leading part in the erection of the new Kavanaugh church, one of the most beautiful and complete structures of its kind in this section of the State. Too many kind words could not be said in regards to this man who has been one of Greenville leaders. The most that could be said would be "He was a man." In the prime of his life he slipped out into the long sleep. Death claimed him and took him to the Supreme Architect whom he served so well while on earth.
