Buried September 8th. Daughter of E. Packwood of Illinois. "The child was buried in the dry wormwood barrens, and as we left the camp the wagons filed over the grave, thus leaving no trace of its situation."--Field Diary. Believed by Meek researcher Del Hinshaw to be on Silver Creek near the west end of Harney Lake.
