Lora's obituary in the Glenrock Independent, Oct. 22, 1931 shows that she was born Lora Kinnick at Buffalo, Missouri on March 26, 1872 and passed away at the age of 59 years old. She was united in married to Elmer E. Wood in Buffalo, Missouri on Oct. 6, 1892. Five children were born to this union of which three preceded her in death, two in infancy and Fred at the age of twenty-seven years, who died Feb. 22, 1929. The Wood family came to Wyoming in the year 1903 and have since made their home in Glenrock. Besides her husband, Elmer Wood; daughter, Mrs. Nelson C. Smith and son William A. Wood; Mrs. Wood is survived by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Kinnick of Buffalo, Missouri, and sister, Mrs. Gregg of Washington and two brothers in Montana.
