Mr William Bowers
Death claimed Mr William Bowers of Hillsdale, Indiana county, on January 10, 1929. He had been sick over the past five years, but was still able to be up and around until a few days before his death, when pneumonia set in, and in his weakened condition, he was past medical aid. He leaved to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs Mary C Bowers, and these children, Mrs George Cochran of Akron, OH, Mrs Elmer Huey of Hillsdale, Mrs Clarence Langham of East Run, Mrs Dell Shields of Smithport and Austin Bowers of Rochester Mills. One son, Harry Bowers, of Starford, preceded him to the grave several years ago. Funeral services were in charge of Undertaker Bolvin from Mahaffey, and Mr Fry of Johnstown, PA. Interment was made in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Rochester Mills, PA, on Sunday, Jan 13, 1929.
