Russell Gunter, of the Pilot Mountain community, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at the home of his daughter in Dayton, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Bunch Gunter; parents, Earl and Amy Barton; brother; Glen Barton.
The family received friends Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services followed in the chapel with Bro. Buster Armes officiating. Interment was held in Morgan Memorial Gardens.
Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg was in charge of arrangements.
