Mrs. Otis Henkle died Saturday at the family home at Bend, news of her death coming to relatives in Benton county. A funeral service is to be held at Bend Tuesday afternoon and the remains will then be brought to Corvallis and taken to the home of Mr. Henkle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Henkle, at Philomath, where a short service is to be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery. Mrs. Henkle had been ill for some time and for more than two years she had been confined to her bed, suffering intensely at times. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Virgil and Emil Henkle, and other relatives in the state. Mr. Henkle is a brother of Mrs. Robert J. Hunter of Corvallis and formerly lived in Benton county. He is vice president of the Henkle clan."
