Mrs. Alice M. Lannin died Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Kelsch in Muskegon. She was 62 years of age.
Born at Mapleton, Mrs. Lannin spent her entire life in the Grand Traverse region with the exception of the last six months which she spent with her daughter. Her maiden name was Alice LaBatt and she married William Lannin in 1902. To this union were born five sons, Floyd, Francis, Harold, Alfred, and Merrill, all residing in Traverse City; also two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Kelsch, and Mrs. Gladys Shelton.
Surviving besides the children are three brothers, Walter, Charles, and Oscar, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Otsego and Mrs. Dianna Shreatte of Traverse City, also six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body will arrive here Saturday and be taken to the Sampson Funeral Home where it will remain until the time of service will be announced later.

Funeral services for Alice M. Lannin, 62. a lifelong resident of this region who died at Muskegon, Thursday, will be held at the Sampson Funeral Home here Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm.
Rev. Thomas Bennett, Pastor of the Oak Park Congregational Church, will officiate and burial will be made in Oakwood cemetery.
