Louise Armstrong Lightfoot Bailey, a life-long resident of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, December 30, in Waco Memorial Park.

Billie Louise was born in Waco, Texas to the late W. T. Armstrong and Martha Hardin Armstrong. She attended Waco Public Schools, graduated from Waco High School in 1945, and Four-C Business College in 1946. Louise later obtained an Associate's Degree from McLennan Community College. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 20 years of service in Customer Relations. Louise was a member of Waco Historic Foundation (Docent), Forum Study Club, Texas Oral History Association, and Lake Shore Church of Christ.

She was proceeded in death by her first husband, William Delma Lightfoot, Jr. who passed away in 1967; and her second husband, Lemuel Arthur "Bill" Bailey who died in 2007.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Lightfoot Treadwell and Janet Lightfoot Long, sons-in-law, Robert C. Treadwell, and R. Leslie Long; step-son Keith Bailey; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, David E. Armstrong; other relatives and many friends.
