WILHITE, MARY M. (SEWARD) - age 89 of Strawberry Plains, went to be with the Lord and her family in heaven on January 21, 2014. Our beloved mother lived a full, happy long life and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by parents, Rayburn L. and Rosa May Seward; husband, Sherman Wilhite; sons, Jerry and Freddy Cracium; daughters, Brenda Sue O'Bryant, Sherry Lee Meridieth; son-in-law, Larry Meridieth; grandchildren, Joey and Wendy Meridieth; great-granddaughter, Makenze Marie Troutt.

She is survived by sons, Louie Cracium and Tony Wilhite; daughters, Gail (Jim) Shults, Rosie (Mike) Baker, Peggy (Bill) Proffitt, and Jan (Terry) Smith; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Jack Seward of Ohio and brother-in-law, Bill Wilhite.

Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Mr. John Fox officiating. Family will meet Friday at 10:45 am for an 11:00 am interment at East View Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.mccarty-evergreenfuneralhome.com
