The 2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Adams died Tuesday, March 1, 1898 at 4 p.m. The little one had been in delicate health since birth and the tender care of loving parents could do nothing but prolong life for a time, but the Messenger finally came and claimed it as His own. Funeral services were held at the family residence on Wednesday afternoon and the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery. Rev. W.A. Cain officiated at the ceremony.
