She was born the second of five children at home in Wales, Utah to Anna Margretha Anderson and Ephraim T. Thomas April 22, 1916. She spent her youth in Wales where she attended school and spent many happy days developing life long friendships. She later graduated with honors from the LDS Seminary and Moroni High School. She met her sweetheart Grant B. Brotherson and was married Aug 15, 1940 and later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Jan. 15, 1952. They spent most of their married life in Mt. Pleasant where they raised their 3 children.
Our mother was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many church callings. She loved children. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She loved spending time visiting with her family, friends and neighbors. She was blessed with a keen mind and had an excellent memory. She always remembered special dates and events. She loved to sew quilt blocks, read, write letters, and spent numerous hours doing genealogy. She loved flowers and could name them all.
She loved her family and looked forward to the family get togethers. She didn't miss a blessing, baptism or wedding. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and read to them often.
