Margaret U. Thomas

Glen Rock - Margaret U. Thomas, 96, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Ralph E. Thomas who died December 2, 2008.
Born in Codorus Twp., Margaret was the daughter of the late James F. and Emma J. (Greenplate) Rohrbaugh.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who took care of her family. She and her husband co-owned Thomas Meat Market for 21 years and she was a charter member of New Hope (Fissel's) United Church of Christ. She loved reading her bible.
Surviving is a daughter, Linda A. Bell and her husband, David of Glen Rock; a granddaughter, Kiersten Bell; and a son-in-law, Dennis Keeney.
Margaret was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol S. Keeney; and a son, Terry R. Thomas. She was also preceded in death by six siblings and was the last of her immediate family.
There will be a public viewing at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at New Hope (Fissel's) United Church of Christ, 3426 Fissel's Church Road, Glen Rock. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with the, Pastor Elmer Speer, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
