Mrs. Eva M. Yeoman Dies Of Infirmities

Mrs. Eva M. (Brown) Yeoman, 92, a retired registered nurse who had lived in Lewiston since 1945, died at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday at the Orchards Nursing Home of the infirmities of age.

Mrs. Yeoman was born Nov. 9, 1872, in Indiana. When she was six years old the family moved to Barclay, Kan., where she attended public schools. She studied at Emporia Teachers College and then took nurse's training at Christ's Hospital, Topeka, kan., where she received a degree as a registered nurse.

She married John W. Yeoman June 10, 1905, at Lyndon, Kan. He died on July 24, 1924.

Mrs. Yeoman moved to Lewiston in 1945 and lived with her daughter, Mrs. George Weaver. She had been a patient at the nursing home for two years.

She was a member of the Friends Church.

Survivors are a son, Eugene Yeoman, Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. George Weaver, Agate Beach, Ore.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
