BRUNDIDGE, Dec.30.--J. B. Blanton, 84-year-old retired farmer, died at his home here today after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 2:30 Wednesday at the Baptist Church with the Rev. R. T. McLeod and the Rev. J. E. Johnson officiating, Jackson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will be in the city cemetery. Surviving are the widow; six sons, Jesse Blanton, of Birmingham, E. E. Blanton, of Opelika, J. W. and G. W. Blanton, of Tuskegee, W. N. and G. R. Blanton, of Brundidge; two daughters, Mrs. C. S. Sanders, of Alexander City, and R. L. Paul, of Winter Garden, Fla.
