Chas. Reynoldsl Dies at Age 67
Charles F. Reynolds, a farmer and lifetime resident of Jefferson county, died at 10:30 am Sunday at his home on RFD 3, Mt. Vernon. His age was 67 years, seven months and 14 days.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Long Prairie church, with the Rev. Marsh Harpoole officiating, and burial will be in Black cemetery in McClellan township.
The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call.
Mr. Reynolds was born December 11, 1880 in Jefferson county, the son of Zed and Harriet (Rutherford) Reynolds.
On October 15, 1902, he was married to Ollie B. Ford, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons; three daughters; a sister, Mrs. Emma Mayfield of Lake City, Ark.; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Mae Flannigan.
