Dr. H. Jerome Yetley 85, a Marshalltown native, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, in the Ottumwa hospital. Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jays Funeral Home in Ottumwa with burial in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
He was born in Marshalltowm Oct. 28, 1902, the son of Judson and Ada Jerome Yetley. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1921. Dr. Yetley was a podiatrist, practicing in Ottumwa more than 50 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Ottumwa, Lions Club, Masons and Elks Lodge. He was active in the Lions Chorus.
Dr. Yetley was married to Victoria Sinkler in June 1934 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They lived their entire married life in Ottumwa.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; a son, three grandsons, and a sister, Wylma Clemons, of Marshalltown.
