Adrienne Sharisse Hurston, 41, of Delaware, Ohio joined her heavenly father on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was born February 26, 1970 in Bronx, NY and is a 1988 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. Adrienne was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Pearson Education and was a faithful member of Second Baptist. Adrienne leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Catherine Hurston; her father, Gemargie (Nora) Hurston; maternal grandmother, Vera Brooks; aunts, Maxine (Michael) Wilson, Dale and Brenda Clark, Melissa Williams; uncles, Donnie (McNeal) Hurston, Alton Scroggin; great-uncle, MacArthur Hurston; and a host of cousins and friends. Homegoing Service 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 Second Baptist Church, 186 N. 17th Street; Dr. Howard Washington, officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adrienne's memory to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association of Ohio.
