Alfred Artie Mayner, 93, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Ozark. He was an Army Veteran, served in the Korean War and a Baptist. He was an avid fisherman and gardener and taught his daughter Marsha to be also. For the last 36 years of his life, his passion was auctions, flea markets and yard sales. He was born March 24, 1920 in Jethro Community, Arkansas to Artie and Martha White Mayner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leta Mae Matthews Mayner.
Memorial service will be held at a later date with burial at Lowes Creek Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Zelaya of Sherman, Texas and Marsha Mayner of the home;one son, James Mayner of Eugene, Oregon; six grandchildren, Charlotte, Rances, Marvin, Debbie, Mark and Christopher; five great grandchildren.
