Robert E. Donnelly, 86, of Sparta passed away Sunday December 22 2013 at his home. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Grover and Lucy Jennings Donnelly. He was also preceded by his wife Anna Mae, a son, Vernon Marshall Donnelly, five brothers and one sister. Robert was a heavy equipment operator and a farmer and was a WW II veteran of the Air Force and Army. Surviving are his three sons, John David Donnelly, Charles Robert Donnelly and Anthony Wayne Donnelly all of Sparta, a brother, Howard Donnelly, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Thursday Dec. 26 at 1PM with visitation beginning at 11AM at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery. Donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
