Note: Her birth record identifies her as Miriam Conkey. Her death record as Miriam (Conley) Bottum. The 1850 census as Marian, and the 1860 census as Mariam. The town clerk transcribed her gravestone in December 1919 as "Moriah." The stone was missing when the cemetery was copied by Margaret Jenks in the 1990's, but using a prior transcription, she too indicates that the name on the stone was "Moriah."
