Albert Corson

Albert Corson of South Jay street died at his home Wednesday afternoon about 5 o'clock at the age of 78 years. He had been sick for a few days at the last, from Friday until Wednesday. Three years ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis and has not been strong since. He had been working as flagman at the Great Western crossing on Alleghany street for six years and was at work until Friday.

He was born November 25, 1840 at Brogansville, Canada. Two children were born of his first marriage, Charles and John, who live in Iowa. He was again married October 3, 1881, to Mrs. Delia Cutshaw at Patchgrove, Wis. In 1902 they came to this vicinity. Six children were born to this union, Edna and Etta, who are dead, Willie, George and Mrs. John Morgan of Austin and Myrtle Reid of Postville, Iowa.

Deceased was a member since young manhood of the United Brethren church. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock at the home on Jay street Thursday afternoon, Rev. Brown of the Lutheran church officiating
