Lillian C. McAllister Bieler Murphy
Lilli was the eldest of 5 children (4 of whom lived) of John W. McAllister & Catherine V. McLaughlin. She was born on a Mississippi river boat of which her father was the Captain of. Her mother died when Lilli was age 17, just days after giving birth to her youngest sibling, who didn't live. Most of her life was spent in Boston.
She married August F. Bieler on 22 Feb 1887 in Boston, and they had two children, Ethel & Frederick. After August passed away in 1904, she was remarried to Edward Murphy, a police officer, in Boston on 21 Jan 1908. She passed away at age 53 from chronic nephritis & acute oedema of the brain. Lilli was buried 18 June.
