Mrs. Tapp, widow of James Lee Tapp, founder of the James L. Tapp Co., died early Thursday at the Medicenter.
Mrs. Tapp, 69, chairman of the board of the company, was born in Ackworth, Ga., daughter of the late James Lyles and Liza Jane Davenport Lemon. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is a son, James L. Tapp, a daughter, Mrs. Ava Lee Ellerbe of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be, R. L. Cain, William D. Banks, Paul E. Waites, Henry E., Vincent, N. E. Brown, Curtis Shumpert, N. B. Fulmer and Ard Brunson.
Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, is in charge.
