Anne Crossley Ferme, 77, of Orlando, Fla., and Silver Lake, Pa., died Monday, December 22, 2003, in Orlando, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, John Ferme.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Ferme, Orlando, Fla.; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Ferme; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jane La Bonte, Silver Lake, Pa., Kate and Alex Hood, Pelham Manor.
Anne attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, Noroton, Conn., and graduated from Manhattanville College, New York City. She was a former employee of Evans Corporation. Anne was a passionate golfer, a devoted mother, and grandmother who was charitable to the homeless and Catholic charitable organizations. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Pa., Saturday, January 3, 2004, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
