KERRVILLE - Neiline Vallier Lane, 91, a lifelong resident of Kerrville, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, in a local care center. She was born May 2, 1915, in San Antonio to Clarence and Jenny Banks Goforth Dickey. Mrs. Lane was a homemaker and a former attendant supervisor at the Kerrville State Hospital. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Witt of Tahoka, Texas, Doris Roberson of Rusk, Texas, and Darla Jean Hammit of Kerrville; sister-in-law, Ada Mae Dickey of Kerrville; niece, Alice Mae Wahrmund of Kerrville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion Eugene Lane, on Dec. 31, 1982; a sister, Berta Lee Rose; and a brother, Russell Dickey.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Warren Hornung.
