Brenda Kay Ridgway, 52, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011.
She was born May 5, 1959, in Walnut Ridge to the late William Lloyd and Maxine "Pat" Adams. Brenda was a medical assistant supervisor for Radiology Consultants and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cabot, where she loved singing in the choir.
She enjoyed crafts, baking and decorating cakes, was a big Elvis fan, but most important in her life was her family. Above all, she enjoyed spending time and going places with her children and grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Mike Ridgway of Cabot. She is also survived by her four daughters, Tracy Hart and her husband, Todd Hart, of Cabot, McKala Barnett and her husband, Trinity Barnett, of Ward, Catherine Langlois and her husband, Brian Langlois, of Beebe and Rebecca Davis and her husband, Robert Davis Jr., of Little Rock. She is also survived by one sister, Wanda Hardin Fincher of Conway; two half sisters, Evelyn and Lola Adams; two brothers, Doneal and Robert Ray Adams, both of Pocahontas; and nine grandchildren, Matt, Katie and Alex Bayles, Alexis Barnett, Spence and Madison Hart, Ana and Briana Langlois and Robert Davis III; and a nephew, Hunter Stivers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Lloyd Adams Jr. and Billy Adams, and two half brothers, James Calvin Hardin and Leonard Hardin.
Visitation will be this evening from 4-7 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, at the First Baptist Church of Cabot, with burial following in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
