Funeral services for Robert Delbert Jones, counsel for the Federal Land Bank of Houston, were held at 3:00 Saturday afternoon at the Brewer Funeral Home in Dallas. Mr. Jones died Thursday in John Hopkins hospital, Baltimore , where he underwent a major operation a week previous.
Prior to going to Houston , he had been a practicing attorney in Dallas . Born in 1888 in Garland , Texas , he was educated in public schools of Elm Grove and Valley View, Texas , graduated from Southwestern University of Georgetown and received his legal training at the Law School of the University of Texas .
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. AGGIE JONES and a daughter, Miss Joanne Jones of Houston , his mother, Mrs. Docia Jones of Amarillo and by several sisters and brothers, including Congressman Jones of Amarillo .
