Born Friday, August 10, 1951 in Clinton, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William Albert Brooks and the late Gladys V. (Coleman) Brooks. Also preceded in death are three brothers, Gary, Albert and William A. Brooks Jr.; and one sister: Wanda Brooks.
Kathy was employed at Higginsville Habilitation Center as a Developmental Aid before retiring in 1983. She lived most of her life in the Corder, Missouri and Richmond, Missouri areas. She was a 1970 graduate of Lafayette Co. C-1 High School in Higginsville and attended college two years at Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, Missouri. She was also a member of Corder Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Christopher Hill of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Kacey (Lamont) Bolden of Higginsville; two brothers, Clifton (Mary Kay) Brooks of Pittsburg, Missouri and Danny (Sandy) Brooks of Corder; one sister, Nancy Anderson of Corder; and one grandson, Ares Bolden.
A Graveside Memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Calvary Cemetery, Corder with Rev. Matt Limback officiating. Inurnment will follow. The Family suggests Memorial contributions be made to Family Choice.
