She was born Dec. 7, 1912, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the daughter of Truman and Dorothy (McFarlane) Lundy. She was raised and attended school in California. She married and had five children while living in California. She later moved to Minnesota where she had three more children. On Nov. 3, 1973, she married Robert Molter in Mineapolis. The couple moved to rural Fergus Falls where they made their home on beautiful Swan Lake, which she enjoyed very much. She joined Swan Lake Lutheran Church and was an active member. She was a very caring and giving person. She loved to volunteer at the food shelf and help others. She loved being with family and friends. In her younger years, she would talk about riding motorcycles. After marrying Mr. Molter, she enjoyed horseback riding through the countryside. Later in life, she took up painting, a natural born artist. Her paintings are as beautiful as the life she led. Her love for God and family will always be remembered.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, Sid Nay, Sam Ferraro and Robert Molter, who died in 1997; a daughter, Louise Ferraro; two sons, Merrill Nay and Reid Nay; two brothers, Chester Lundy and Bud Lundy; a grandson, Donald Brunolt; and two great-grandsons, Mathew and Martin Brunolt.
Survivors include her four daughters, Marlene (Pierre) Chicoine, Peggy Lopez and Jeanette Nay, all of California, and Carol Smith of Fergus Falls; four sons, Patrick (Mike) Ferraro and Thomas (Charlene) Ferraro both of Mineapolis, Richard (Beverly) Molter of Fergus Falls and Milton (Betty) Molter of Livonia, Mich.; 63 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Bowles of California; and a brother, Sid Lundy of California.
Visitation: Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., with a public prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services at the church
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Swan Lake Lutheran Church, rural Fergus Falls
