He was a longtime member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church and had served as Sunday school superintendent for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrtle Eva Terry Williams; brothers, Silas, James W. and Paul Williams; sisters, Perley Fegan, Lucy Maynard and Marie Russom; and grand-daughter, Jacquline Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Macy Williams of the home; sons, Steven M. (Pamela) Williams of Marmaduke and Frank (Jackie) Williams of Beech Grove; brother, O.C. Williams of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Dawn (Greg) McGarraugh, Jimmy (Holly) Williams and John Williams; and great-grand-sons, Brody Travis and Jackson Travis.
Funeral services were held at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
