Melba Elaine Strawn, age 95, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Hot Springs, AR. She was born on June 2, 1918 in Belton, AR, the daughter of the late William Jeff Bradley and Mattie Bell (Tucker) Bradley.
She was a housewife and member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Strawn; two brothers, Byron Bradley and Bill Bradley; and one sister, Audrey Lively.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Strawn and wife, Shirley of Nashville, and Greg Strawn and wife, Fran of Nashville; one daughter, Patricia Stine and husband, Henry of Texarkana, AR; 4 grandchildren, Carl Stanton, Jason Strawn, Matthew Strawn, and Bradley Strawn; and one great granddaughter, Olivia Strawn. A host of relatives and friends mourn her passing
Services were held Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Murfreesboro under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
