Daily Freeman-Journal, Webster City IA, Wednesday 31 May 1950 - Mrs. Dingman Dies at 74 Mrs. Ella Dingman, 74, longtime Webster City resident, died at 3:55 Monday afternoon at the state sanatorium in Oakdale where she had been a patient the past four days. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster funeral home with Rev. E.W. Collyer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland cemetery.

Ella Johnson, daughter of Robert and Margaret Ann Johnson, was born May 28, 1876 in Madison county, Iowa. When she was a young girl she moved to Webster City, and was later united in marriage to Bert [aka Burton] Cantonwine of this city. He preceded her in death. In January, 1920 [1919??], she was united in marriage to Ulysses S. Dingman, who preceded her in death in 1936. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one brother, S.W. Johnson of Cambridge City, Ind., and also by several nieces and nephews.
