Noma A. Pettis went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2013. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years W. Roy Pettis. Prior to retiring to Jackson AL, Mrs. Pettis was a longtime resident of Bristol, PA where she was a lifetime member of The Patriotic Order of America. She was a faithful member of The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.

Mrs. Pettis is survived by her children Wayne Pettis (Barbara), Carol Trego (Wayne), Rebecca Pettis, Kenneth Pettis (Amy); her loving grandchildren Jean Gittens (Art), Michael Trego, David Trego, Stephanie Pettis, Meghan Pettis, Joshua Pettis, Jacob Pettis, Bobby Foreman (Carla), Kenneth Foreman (Scott), great-grandchildren Caitlyn and Whitney Foreman, Ryan and Aiden Foreman; sister Charlotte Ott, brother Ned Albright (Annie), and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Terry Blevins and Dr. Johnny Kendrick officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to Service. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery, Coffeeville, AL.

Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Lathan Funeral Homes, 1867 Highway 43, Jackson, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, 302 Church Street, Jackson, AL 36545.
