George was the son of William Henry and Mary Angeline(Ramsey). He was never married. George helped move the Mosier Family from Arkansas to Texas when they came by wagons to Hereford, Texas. His death certificate gives his middle name as "Zier" and it is confirmed by his burial record. George's death certificate says he was born in Mernard Co. in Dec. but Wm. Henry bought 160 acres in Eastland Co on Nov 20, 1875. I believe he was born in Eastland County.I have found records that show Wm Henry was in Eastland Co in 1875 so his birth date falls just a month after in December.

Gravesite Details

My cousin went to this cemetery for me and checked with the office. There is a record for this at the office but sadly, there is no headstone for George. The record shows that his name was George Zier Funderburg, as does his death certificate.
