J. H. Hudson, 40, of 4000 Linden Avenue, died in a Fort Worth hospital at 3 p.m. yesterday. Funeral services will be held from First Christian Church at 4 p.m. today with Rev. L. D. Anderson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife and a daughter, Miss Marjorie Fae Hudson; two brothers, Oliver and Walter Hudson, Harrison, Ark., and two sisters, Mrs. Letha Casey and Mrs. Mattie White, Harrison.
Active pallbearers will be Otis Atwood, Ivy Atwood, Worth Atwood, Robert Atwood, Jessie Carter and Elzy Gregory.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lee, Max Bergman, A. F. Morgan, Clint Griffith, Frank Lore, Ed Kayler, Lowell Baldwin, Earl Smith, Ray Hawley, Clyde Allen, Allen Pettigrew, Orville Ferguson and John Engler.

Hudson attended the University of Arkansas in 1909 and 1910, after which he entered the teaching profession in Texas and Oklahoma. He was employed by the United States Government for six years in Pauls Valley, Okla.; Sterling, Colo., and Casper, Wyo. Hudson came to Fort Worth in 1918 and entered into the grocery business and had been engaged in that business until his death. His store was located at 3919 Curzon Avenue.
