A. R. (Bert) Durant, 87, of 10816 Portland Ave., died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born in Waupaca, Wis., and came to Tacoma in 1934 from Oshkosh, Wis. He was retired.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marvin J. Kenney of Steilacoom; two sons, Kenneth E. Evans of Milwaukee, Wis., and Byron J. Evans of Tacoma; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. [These are all step-children and their descendants.]
Services will be announced by Mountain View Funeral Home."
