Tony retired from the Chrysler Casting Plant in 2007. He had received an associate degree as an electrician from Ivy Tech. He had served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greentown, a former member of the American Legion in Logansport and the 40 and 8 Club. Tony enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and fishing,
Surviving him are his wife, Rebecca Bolinger, Kokomo; sons, Joshua (Amber) Bolinger, Galveston, Andrew ( Josie) Bolinger, Kokomo; daughter, Tracie Bolinger, Kokomo; grandchildren, Aurora and Maya Bolinger; brother, Tim Bolinger, Logansport; two sisters, Terri (Rick) Overpeck, Logansport, and Toby (Jerry) Mitchell, Kokomo; special children who called him dad and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with Pastor Michael Goodspeed officiating and military right by the American Legion Post #317. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be
made to "Angels for Kids" charity.
