Homer and Minnie came to Alberta about 1912, first farming near Gadsby, then Byemoor, before settling in the Science Mound district near Donalda. They had a family one one son, Erman, and two daughters, Elna and Doreen.
Their son, Erman, married Mrs. Margaret Hamilton Olson, and they raised three sons. Erman and Margaret retired to B.C. in 1963.
Daughter, Elna, married Donald Bancroft and they had two sons. Don passed away in 1967, and Elna remarried to Ernest Lutz.
Daughter, Doreen, married William Hanchar and they had three children. They lived at Parksville, B.C.
