Old resident Passes
Mrs. Jane Currie, a pioneer resident of this section, passed away at the home of her son, David Currie, in Mosa on Monday, February 10th in her 86th year. She had only been ill since Friday, with heart trouble. Deceased was born in Enniskillen, Ireland, coming to this county at the age of two years with her grandparents. her husband Robert Currie, predeceased her by about 20 years. Four daughters and three sons are left - Mrs. James Corbelt, Glencoe; Mrs. Jane Freeman and Mrs. Wm. Whitlock, London; Mrs. N. Donnelly, Lucan; Robert, in the States; James in Ekfrid and David on the homestead. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters - James and Richard Stinson, of Glencoe; John Stinson, of Mosa; Mrs. Swanton, of Highgate and Mrs. Betsy Hillman, of Denver Colorado. The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, interment being made at Oakland cemetery.
