Benjamin Casey, telegraph operator, after every attention we could give, died at his post, a noble example of heroic courage that should last while the brave, the true, and the good are respected. Your correspondent met him the day Mosby deserted his post, and Cayce said, "My life and all I can do is at the disposal of the suffering people of Holly Springs." W.J.L. Holland, Chairman of the Relief Committee says: "The telegraph company have noble martyrs, but none truer or more unselfish than Ben Cayce. Peace to his ashes and may Springtime find his grave fresh and green.
