George Greer, age 69, died Friday June 19, after a long illness. Mr. Greer was one of Stilwell's oldest residents and a leading business man a number of years ago. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.M. Haygood Sunday afternoon. Burial in New Hope Cemetery (now called the Stilwell City Cemetery) under direction of the Roberts funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. George Greer, one daughter, Mrs. J.L. Mogg of Clinton, Oklahoma, and one son, John Greer of Stilwell.
