Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Columbia Methodist Church with the Reverends Jimmy Bolton and D. T. Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Columbia cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Bridger is survived by his wife, Pearl Bridger; two brothers, Archie and Hartley; a sister, Mrs. Hugh Seals, all of Columbia; and a half sister, Mrs. Jeannie Busch [sic Bush], New Orleans.
Members of the American Legion Post No. 162 served as pallbearers.
