Maude Eva Carroll Miller, 98, of Jacksonville, Ala., formerly of Knox County, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Miller lived the majority of her life in Knox County, Kentucky, but has lived for the past 21 years in Jacksonville, Ala. She attended West Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judy (George) Martel and Barbara (Charles) Dawson; four grandchildren, Mike and Debbie Dawson, Dianna Holditch, Chris Hopes, Katie and Nathan Harper; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert B. Miller; two brothers, Leslie and Floyd Carroll along with her parents, Andy and Amanda Miller Carroll.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Cemetery. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
