The Atchison Kansas Champion, Thursday, 5 January 1899
J. H. McAdoo, the Iatan fruit grower, and H. P. Graves were at Undertaker Harouff's this forenoon for a casket for A. B. Bly, who died today at his home at Bly Station, across the river. Bly was 83 years of age. He was one of the earliest settlers in Buchanan county, and Bly Station was named after him. He married the widow Byram in an early day, who survives him; also a son, Sam, and a daughter. Interment in the Bly cemetery tomorrow afternoon.
